John McGill hails from Scotland & since arriving in NZ in the 90s he has become a highly regarded, experienced vocalist and front man for a number of big bands and combos in the Auckland region. He recently thrilled an audience of all ages at the Mahurangi Regatta with a repertoire which draws from Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Bobby Darin, Perry Como and Tony Bennett, and his relaxed unassuming style, sharp wit and Las Vegas style delivery will trigger lots of memories.
Clare Martin is an ex-opera singer (NZ & UK) who re-found her mojo in jazz and blues. She studies jazz singing with Julie Mason and sings with Imperfect Offering- a Leonard Cohen tribute band and with various jazz groups. Clare is a singing teacher/coach, events organiser, music reviewer & radio DJ with the Radio13 Music Collective.
